Delete your account
You can permanently delete your CarSignal account and personal data at any time. Here's how to do it, what gets removed, and what we may keep.
CarSignal is operated by Prime Trail Ventures LLC.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open the CarSignal app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and associated data are scheduled for deletion immediately.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you can't access the app, email us from the address linked to your account (or tell us the account email) with the subject "Delete my account," and we'll verify and process your request.

What gets deleted
- Your account and login (email / sign-in) and your backend profile.
- Your saved assessments and any cloud-synced data.
- Your scan-usage and entitlement records tied to your account, where we are not legally required to keep them.
What we may keep
- Limited purchase and transaction records (such as store order IDs) that we must retain for accounting, tax, and legal compliance — kept only for the period required by law, then deleted or de-identified.
- Data that has been aggregated or de-identified so it no longer identifies you.
About your purchases
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription or issue a refund. Manage or cancel subscriptions, and request refunds, through Google Play (or the App Store, when available).
How long it takes
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Copies in routine backups are removed on our regular backup cycle.
